Sunrise Bakery was born in 2011 when founder Clara Ashworth — fresh from a year training under master bakers in Lyon and San Francisco — returned home to Camden with a sourdough starter she'd nurtured for six months and an unshakeable belief that good bread could change your morning.

What started as a tiny street-market stall on Inverness Street grew, loaf by loaf, into the beloved shopfront it is today. Our stone mill grinds heritage wheat from Wiltshire farms each week. Our croissants take three days to laminate. And every celebration cake is designed from scratch with the customer — because no two celebrations are the same.

Clara and the team still arrive before 4 am, six days a week. The warm smell that drifts down High Street by seven o'clock is not an accident — it's a promise.
